ill just edit these pics later when i get home..we are not allowed to use the camera flash while taking pictures of this nocturnal creatures...thats me holding a tarsier

left Tagbilaran City at 7:30 a.m. for Talibon and as suggested by my cousin Boy Pag-ong who came to see me at the hotel where I am staying, took the route passing through the Loboc river then to where the tarsiers are then passed by the famous Baclayon church and then on to the Chocolate Hills. We passed by my Uncle Daniel's prawn buying station in Trinidad and then arrived here in Talibon at exactly 10:15. We are now checked in at the Watergate Hotel and will pay a courtesy call with the Mayor at 2pm...so far so good..im immensely enjoying this adventure..thank God for internet access in this part of the world!

I am in Tagbilaran, Bohol right now...I need a place to stash my photographs from my SONY Cybershot Digicam so I decided to keep it here..I will just organize it later when I get back home to Dumaguete from this three week research work at the Danajon Banks - the worlds second largest double barrier reef and the only one in Asia...tomorrow we will leave for Talibon on board a chartered V-hire and make the necessary courtesy calls to the Mayors of Getafe and Talibon. We just had dinner at Chicken Ati-Atihan owned by childhood buddy Alex Abregana....I arrived here together with Prof. Demberge Caballes of SWU and Dr. Ike Oracion on board Weesam Express...hope I can find internet access on the places we will be going to but definitely wont find any at the islands that we will be for the next three weeks...
